About our Theatre in Education Workshops
All of our workshops are run by qualified and highly experienced actors and workshop leaders who all hold CRB police check certificates.
PALS workshops will help students to develop their creative skills, giving them a chance to use their imagination. Our workshops help to build confidence and provide an opportunity for children to work as a team, to think for themselves and to digest knowledge in an active and fun way.
Production Workshops
PALS provide follow-up workshops for all productions, apart from the Christmas performances.
A workshop will normally start after a production and will continue throughout the day. This works on a class by class basis; each workshop leader can take a group of up to 30 students at a time. Each production workshop would last 45 minutes per group and we can take up to nine groups in a day.
Drama workshops
The drama workshops look at all aspects of acting and performance skills. The workshop covers comedy, mime, voice techniques, improvisation, acting for the stage and children’s theatre.
Tailor made workshops
All PALS workshops leaders are highly experienced, with an extensive knowledge of devising workshops on many different subjects.
If you have any topics that you would like us to cover, then please give us a call and we would be happy to create a tailor made workshop on that subject.
Dance workshops
Musical theatre, Indian, Salsa, Carnival, South American, Tango, Swing, old time music hall, Tudor, Aboriginal, River dance theme, Street, Pop of various eras, Flamenco, Russian, Classical, tap, English, Chinese, polish, French, African, Greek and Roman.
For drama, dance and tailor made workshops, depending on the number of pupils taking part, PALS offer half a day or a whole day of workshops. If you are a particularly big school we could come to you for more than one day.
