About our Theatre in Education Workshops
All of our workshops are run by qualified and highly experienced actors and workshop leaders, all of whom hold a CRB police check certificate.
PALS workshops will feed students’ creativity, giving them a chance to use their imagination. Our workshops will also help to build confidence; allowing children to work as a team, to think for themselves and to digest knowledge in an active and fun way.
Holiday and after school clubs
For the past two years PALS have worked with Northamptonshire extended services. We have provided them with holiday theatre schools where pupils learn acting, singing and dancing over a 3 day course. We end the 3 days with a mini show to perform to their parents. We offer a variety of after school clubs from fitness to drama.
Tailor made workshops
PALS are highly experienced workshops leaders, with an extensive knowledge of devising workshops on many different subjects.
If you have any topics that you would like us to cover then please give us a call and we would be happy to develop a tailor made workshop on that subject.
Drama workshops
The drama workshop looks at all aspects of acting and performance skills. The workshop covers; comedy, mime, voice techniques, improvisation, acting for the stage and children’s theatre.
Dance workshops
Musical Theatre, Indian, Salsa, Carnival, South American, Tango, Swing, Old Time Music Hall, Tudor, Aboriginal, River Dance, Street, Pop (of various eras), Flamenco, Russian, Classical, Tap, English, Chinese, Polish, French, African, Greek and Roman.
For the drama, dance and tailor made workshops, depending on the amount of pupils taking part, PALS offer half a day or a whole day of workshops. If you are a particularly big school we could come to you for more than one day.
